Is there a cost to your customers?
There is no charge to our customers for the meter installation and upgrade. The project had been approved and funded by Town meeting in May 2010. There will be no billing for any individual accounts. The Town of Longmeadow is responsible for the hiring of the installers and purchasing of the meters and remote transmitters. It is the customer’s responsibility to maintain their meter shutoff and plumbing in good condition.
