Building & Community Development Permitting Portal

This page contains instructions, application forms, and information related to the permitting processes governed by the Building Department, the Planning Board, and the Zoning Board of Appeals. Note that while any one project may trigger multiple permitting processes, they are each distinct from each other and require their own fees and permit application forms. If you have questions regarding which permits may apply to your project, please contact the Building Department. Building Department Permits

For Building Department permits, you may submit a paper copy of your application to the office, or you may apply online here: Online Permit Link.

Planning Board and Zoning Board of Appeals Permits

For applications going before either the Planning Board or Zoning Board of Appeals, you must submit the requisite number of hard copies and one digital copy to the office. Refer to the specific application instructions to determine the number of hard copies required, and if a digital copy is required as well. Note that as of December 11, 2023, all application forms for the Planning Board and Zoning Board of Appeals have been updated. These new forms must be used in order for applications to be considered complete. Older versions will not be accepted. You can download these forms under the relevant tabs below.
