Water & Sewer Commissioners
The Select Board serves at the Water and Sewer Commissioners and annually sets the water and sewer rates.
The town buys water from Springfield Water and Sewer Commission and town sewage is treated and disposed of by Springfield Water and Sewer Commission.

- On June 15, 2020 Springfield Water and Sewer Commission presented an update on capital planning projects to the Select Board, a copy of the presentation is available here.
- In response to the presentation the Select Board has sent a letter to Springfield Water and Sewer Commission requesting a town representative take part in the capital planning process. A study of the water and sewer rates was done by DPC in 2017 and presented to the Select Board on September 5, 2017. The presentation included three options for water and sewer rates. Linked below is a copy of the study and PowerPoint. The Select Board chose to go with option 3, which was to maintain the current rate structure.
In spring 2008 a Water and Sewer Rate Advisory Task Force was convened. The Task Force consisted of the Town Manager Robin Crosbie, Director of Administration and Finance Paul Pasterczyk, Director of Public Works Mike Wrabel, Assistant Director of Public Works for Water and Sewer Operations Pete Thurber, and Town Engineer Thom Martens. The Task Force was to develop a capital plan for the water and sewer systems and to explore water and sewer rate options. Recommendations were made to the Town Manager, for presentation to the Select Board, on water and sewer rates for fiscal year 2009 and beyond, with focus on a rate structure that can be sustained and annually modified to meet budgetary and capital obligations, and meet reserve targets; to recommend a reserve target for water and sewer reserves; and, to
